With years of experience and a compassionate approach, Dr. Gwak offers tailored treatment plans to help patients achieve mental wellness. Located in Illinois, the practice is dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment.
Certifications: Dr. Gwak received his B.S. from Rice University and his M.D. from Texas A&M School of Medicine. He completed his residency training in adult psychiatry at Rush University Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago through Northwestern University. He is board certified in both child/adolescent psychiatry as well as adult psychiatry.

He provides evidence-based medication management and psychotherapy, and values a collaborative approach with families to help empower children and adolescents on their journey.
